The At-Home Solution!

Private Training
The At-Home Training Solution

With private lessons you and your dog have the undivided attention of a professional BravoPup trainer. We focus exclusively on your goals, teaching you how to effectively work with your dog.

Private sessions last an hour and are highly customized with expert client coaching and written follow-up reports. Training can be in your home, in an outdoor setting such as a park, or both, depending on your individual needs.

We offer individual sessions or a variety of training packages, depending on the needs of your dog.

  • Dog parents wanting to work on a specific issue.
  • Dog parents who are unable to participate in a group class due to schedule constraints.
  • Dogs who are inappropriate for group classes due to their behavior.
  • Dog parents who prefer one-on-one coaching from a qualified professional.

The first step is to fill out our Private Training Intake Form. From there we will refer you to one of our trainers and you will be on your way!  Scheduling and payment for privates is through the trainer, not on the website.

Your trainer will start with a 60-90 minute Initial Behavioral Evaluation to gain a full understanding of your dog’s behavior issues and training goals. Then, they will recommend a training plan and an appropriate training package to help you achieve those goals.

Step #1: Private Training Intake Form.

Our trainers are highly skilled and experienced in many areas of dog and puppy behavior. From preparing you to bring home a new puppy to needing help with a dog that is fearful, leash reactive, excessively barking, jumps and pulls on leash and everything in between, we can help.

We regret that we are not able to offer in-person private training for dogs that have the following behaviors:

  • Dog to dog aggression.
  • Dog to human aggression
  • Dogs with a bite history.
  • Resource guarding.
  • Separation anxiety. Separation anxiety requires specialized training. We highly recommend the expert in the field: Malena DeMartini: https://malenademartini.com

Initial Behavioral Evaluation

A comprehensive behavior evaluation that may last up to 90 minutes. We collect a complete case history on your dog’s behavior and discuss your training goals in depth. Based on our findings, we’ll recommend a training plan and package that fits your needs.

Fee: $150

If you’ve already attended one of our classes the cost of the Initial Evaluation may be reduced to $125 at the trainer’s discretion.

Covid-19 Protocols

Safe, Effective Solutions During COVID-19

Covid-19 protocols are continually changing. We are aware that many industries are relaxing their mask wearing requirements. We are also aware that there are people who teach and attend our classes with compromised immune systems. For these reasons our instructors continue to wear masks and we ask our students to do so as well. We do our best to provide the best training experience possible and use speaker/microphones in the locations where the ability to hear is affected by the use of masks by the instructor.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our clients, and are committed to keeping everyone safe and healthy as we navigate these ever changing times!

Live Remote Instruction

Our Live Remote instruction uses the zoom platform to teach live, not pre-recorded, classes. This is the perfect way to benefit from group training for those dogs that are not yet ready for in-person classes.

Your highly educated and experienced instructor Holden Svirsky, CTC, CSAT, is a graduate of ‘The Academy for Dog Trainers’ and has developed these classes specifically for remote learning.
